PixMinis Episode 19: George and A.J.

In preparation for the release of Soul on Disney+, Arun and
Patricia decide to do a spinoff of PixMix called PixMinis where
they look back on a Pixar short every day until December 25th.
  


In this episode, they look back on the 2009 Pixar short George
and A.J., the two employees at Shady Oaks Retirement Home from
the film Up. George and A.J. had seen Carl Frederickson lift his
house away with a bunch of balloons and were flabbergasted that
it happened. While the news reports on this, many elderly people
attached their homes to various objects to fly away including the
retirement home.  Similar to Jack-Jack Attack, BURN-E, and
Dug's Special Mission, George and A.J. takes place during Up.
However, unlike the other shorts, it was done with still drawings
and storyboards due to a limited budget. What did Arun and
Patricia think of the short despite its shortcomings? Listen and
