PixMix Episode 28: Monsters at Work

In this episode of PixMix, Arun and Patricia discuss about the
2021 Disney+ animated series Monsters at Work based on the 2001
Pixar film Monsters, Inc. Taking place after the events of
Monsters, Inc., a monster named Tylor Tuskman recently graduated
from Monsters University and was recently hired into Monsters,
Inc as one of their Top Scarers. However, he learns that
Monsters, Inc. relies on laugh power to get their energy and are
now hiring Jokesters. He gets transferred over to the Monsters,
Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT) where he meets a bunch of colorful
characters such as his old college acquaintance named Val, a
serious, yet sarcastic worker named Cutter, Duncan, the grumpy
monster who wants to be the manager of MIFT, and Fritz, the
lovable, supporting, and caring manager of MIFT. Tylor doesn't
want to be a part of MIFT and instead is getting training from
Mike to be a jokester. Meanwhile, Mike and Sulley are the CEOs of
Monsters, Inc. and are going through ups and downs of running the
company.  


This is the 2nd animated series based on a Pixar film, but the
first one to do it in 3D. When the series premiered on Disney+,
it received mixed to positive reviews from critics and fans. What
did Arun and Patricia think of the series? Should Pixar make more
series based on their movies? Is this a better continuation of
