DreamMachine Episode 45: The Bad Guys

In this episode of DreamMachine, Arun and Patricia discuss the
2022 DreamWorks animated film The Bad Guys, which is based on a
book series by Aaron Blabey. The film features a group of
anthropomorphic animals known as The Bad Guys who steal money,
gold, and other valuable items. When hearing that there's a
philanthropic ball being held with a prized award giving to a
guinea pig named Professor Rupert Marmalade, they decide to make
it the ultimate heist and steal it. However, the leader of The
Bad Guys, Mr. Wolf, does a good deed helping an old woman from
falling off the stairs after trying to steal money from her
purse, he realizes that he likes being good. However, they get
caught during the heist and Professor Marmalade decides to help
them become good with Mr. Wolf taking advantage of this offer to
pretend to be good to steal the award at an upcoming gala. Do
they succeed or does Mr. Wolf's recent change to being good
disrupts the plan?


When the movie premiered on theaters and streaming services, it
made $246 million dollars with positive reviews from critics
