Journey to the Blue Sky Episode 10: Rio 2

In this episode of Journey to the Blue Sky, Arun and Patricia
discuss about the 2014 Blue Sky Studios animated film Rio 2, the
sequel to the 2011 film Rio. Three years have passed since Blu
and Jewel moved into the bird sanctuary and have three kids.
They're living a comfortable domestic life which Jewel
disapproves of and wishes to return to the wild. They see on the
news that Julia and Tulio discovered that there may be blue
macaws in the Amazon Forest and they travel to find them.
Meanwhile, Nigel, the cockatoo from the first film wishes to
strike revenge against Blu.


When the film premiered in theaters, it made $498 million dollars
out of a $100 million dollar budget with mixed opinions from
critics saying it was a fun, colorful, but forgettable
