Old School Lane Casual Chats: Animaniacs (1993)

In this episode of Casual Chats, Patricia and Arun from The Arun
Mehta Show discuss about the 1993 animated series Animaniacs in
honor of its 30th anniversary. In 1930 at the Warner Bros. lot,
the animation studio Termite Terrace created the Warner Bros. and
sister named Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. They created so much chaos
that the studio stored away their cartoons in a vault and locked
them in the water tower. Now, decades later, they're out and
causing mayhem in the 90s. In the series, there are other skits
like Pinky and the Brain, a duo of mice who want to take over the
world, Slappy Squirrel, an cartoon character from the 30's and
40's dealing with today's society with her nephew Skippy, and
more.


The show was praised by kids and adults for its humor, songs, and
characters and is still fondly remembered by the people who grew
up with it.
