Folklore Behind Scooby-Doo discuss about the 1999 direct to video
movie Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy,
Velma, Daphne, and Fred are invited by horror book author Ben
Ravencroft to his hometown of Oakhaven where a celebrating of his
ancestor Sarah is being held. However, the town is spreading
rumors that Sarah was a witch, but Ben is trying to prove to them
that she was a wiccan by locating her lost journal. Meanwhile, a
witch is terrorizing the town and the Mystery Inc. gang is trying
to solve who's responsible for it. This is the 2nd Scooby-Doo
film from Japanese animation studio Mook Animation after their
major success with the previous film Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island
and it has received just as much praise with its atmosphere, new
characters, and music provided by the eco-goth rock band group
