Episode 43: The Day the Earth Stood Cool or The Mother of Hipsters

In this more recent episode (is within the last 10 years recent?)
we take a look hipster culture taking over Springfield. Cori hand
picked this one as she has a lot to relate to as the self
proclaimed Mother of Hipsters. Bryan talks about the surprise and
consequent freak out over the inclusion of one of his favorite
bands, Screeching Weasel. Brenden learns about Alaska and is
critical of the episode as he says that he thinks it is ironic
and even out of touch in it's critique of millennials and
hipsters. This is another episode filled with laughs, some tears
(a SICTTASHP first) and some great conversation, we hope you will

Just a quick note, we ran into a slight technical mishap at the
end of the episode as it ends rather abruptly. Our wrap up did
not record properly, but luckily the rest of the episode was
