Teaching Passion and Purpose for Future Generations

Today on Sense of Soul podcast we have, Corey Poirier (aka. That
Speaker Guy), he is a Multiple-Time TEDx Speaker, and he is the
founder of bLU Talks. Corey Poirier is the host of The
Enlightened Passenger podcast, and is a Barnes and Noble, Amazon,
Wall Street Journal and USA Today Bestseller. He’s newly released
book ‘The Enlightened Passenger’ is a compelling narrative
blending self-help wisdom with the art of storytelling.


In Corey’s recent TEDx he shared how when his five-year-old son
was in kindergarten, he was shocked when the parent teacher
conference focused on his son's perceived weakness, that his son
still had a slant when he wrote his name. Nothing was said about
things he was passionate about or excelled at. Something is going
wrong in education, leading to the question. Why don't they teach
about passion and finding your purpose in school?
