Dana Calanan: A Broadway and TV & Film Tailor

I was really excited to sit down and talk with Dana because we are
both from Niagara Falls. It's not everyday you get to meet and work
with people in film who are from Niagara. Dana Calanan has worked
in the costume department as a Tailor/ Seamstress for over 20
years. She has worked in both Broadway and TV & Film. Some
projects she has worked on are "The Phantom of the Opera", "Mamma
Mia", ""Marshall and the Golden Globe award-winning series "The
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel". In this episode, she explains what a tailor
is, what a typical day looks like, how often she works with the
actors and what kind of skills you should have for the job. She
also shares a funny interaction she had with actor Josh Gad aka
Olaf in "Frozen".
