Michael Thompson: Aspiring Director of Photography

I met Mike on the set of a music video I directed in October of
2017 and then after that I started seeing him around the city
 on different film sets. Mike is putting in his days to join
the union but he is also constantly creating content whether its on
 commercial shoots, music videos,or friends projects, he's
always trying to get better. It was really cool getting to talk to
Mike because he is like a lot of us where we are in the middle of
trying to figure it out. We don't have all the answers right now.
We are just making it happen along the way. One of the things to
take away from this episode is that you should constantly be
creating your own stuff. Its the only way to get better at your
craft and you get the opportunity to try different things you might
not be able to do on a bigger project.
