journey of conscious parenting and the many challenges that arise

The expression “conscious parenting” is on the rise. As is
“mindful parenting” and “healthy parenting”. But what does this
mean? In this short presentation, Philippe and Paget will
teach you 8 tools that support the sort of parenting that helps
children in learning to make the best choices for themselves and
each other as they grow to become full fledged humans. The
expression “right action, right relationship” comes to mind as
the goal of conscious parenting. It also means, for parents,
having attention not only on the content of the lessons they
teach to their children, but also attention on how they teach
these lessons. It’s a meta self-reflective perspective that
always has the question “Is this the most effective way to raise
this little human to support them in making the best choices in
life?” while at the same time answering the question “Is this the
most effective way for us as parents to raise our children while
remaining connected as partners and while caring for ourselves as
individuals”. Above all, conscious parenting seeks to strike a
balance in all areas while creating a gracefully optimized
container for the whole family to grow and engage. Parenting is
no less than learning to dance with someone who has never danced
before, and we seek to support you in doing this well with your
kids.
