On November 15 2020, the 10 members of the Association of
Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), Australia, China, Japan, New
Zealand and South Korea signed the Regional Comprehensive
Economic Partnership (RCEP), creating the world’s largest

Bruegel fellows from around the world - Uri Dadush, based in
Washington DC; Alicia Garcia-Herrero based in Hong Kong and Suman
Bery based in India, bring their knowledge and geopolitical
