How useful have the EU’s financial sanctions on Russia been?

When the sanctions against Russia were first implemented,
Giuseppe Porcaro invited Nicolas Véron and Elina Ribakova on The
Sound of Economics to discuss the possible implications of those
sanctions.

On 24 February, it will be one year since the invasion of
Ukraine. As this anniversary approaches, they revisit this topic
