The Human League interview - Phil Oakey 06/08

One of my non-Metal interviews that is not connected with Black
Night Meditations, but I'm posting here anyway. I've been a fan of
The Human League since I heard their singles from the Dare album on
the radio in '81-'82, and have been a fan ever since. I was excited
to speak with Phil, and I had a lot I wanted to talk about. This
interview was to promote their headlining slot on the Regeneration
Tour 2008. I tried to touch on topics that fans would want to know
about, as opposed to silly things that so many other interviews
discuss. This is one of my best interviews, and it's because I love
their music and Phil is so honest and forthcoming.

If you're looking to discover The Human League's music, I recommend
the albums Secrets & Dare to start out with. Or if you're not
so inclined to track down their albums, at least get The Very Best
Of (white cover with an eye). Great song selection to get into THL.
