BNM's roving Metal reporter, or in this case...cruising Metal
reporter, Matt Bower called in on 2/1 to tell the tales of sailing
the treacherous high seas, all in the name of Metal. Hear Matt
discuss how the 70000 Tons Of Metal Cruise has redefined the art of
the Metal festival by taking a full-sized cruise ship, adding over
40 Metal bands and a couple thousand headbangers from almost 50
countries, and setting sail from Miami to Cozumel. The Love Boat
this was not.

Yes, Swashbuckle was on-board. No, Alestorm was not. Destruction,
Blind Guardian, Voivod, Agent Steel, Testament, Sodom, Marduk, Amon
Amarth, Raven, Saxon, Obituary, and so many more. If only Running
Wild were still around. For those who did not sail under jolly
roger, Matt explains what he got for his 666 doubloons, if anyone
walked the plank, and if Kai Hansen really likes tacos.
