SERIES: GETTING TO THE NEXT LEVEL! EPISODE 12: IT’S TIME TO LET GO OF THE GUILT!

INTRODUCTION- SERIES: GETTING TO THE NEXT LEVEL: IT’S TIME TO LET
GO OF THE GUILT!


Rom 8: 33-39


33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has
chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one
who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who
was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also
interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love
of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or
nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written: “For
your sake we face death all day long;  we are considered as
sheep to be slaughtered.” 37  No, in all these things
we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
38  For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future,
nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love
of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.


Paul said there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ
Jesus!


We are innocent until proven guilty. Jesus is our defense
attorney, and has won our case, the court has acquitted us, but
in our minds, we are still criminals. Because of the brand that
we still carry around. Amen!!! Think about this, if we are one
with Jesus and He is our head, we cannot be condemned. You can’t
acquit the head and condemn the hand. You can’t drown the foot as
long as the head is out of the water!!!   


If Christ gave his life for us, He is not going to turn around
and condemn us. So why do we hold on to our guilt? Jesus said “Ye
who is without sin cast the first stone, they all left. Jesus
asked “Where are they? Has no one condemned you?” she said no,
and Jesus said neither do I condemn you”.  (John 7:53-8:11)
We got to stop condemning ourselves. There is no condemnation
because we share the righteousness of God, and the law cannot
condemn us! There is no obligation because we have the Spirit of
God Who enables us to overcome the flesh and live for God. There
is no frustration because we share the glory of God, the blessed
hope of Christ’s return. There is no separation because we
experience the love of God (v.35). Christ Has Declared You
Righteous? (Vv.34)


That is right only Jesus can talk the stain of Guilt off us. We
can’t do like Pilate when he tried to wash his hands from the
guilt of crucifying Christ.  Please do not be like Judas and
take your life. I can tell you that you can never do anything
that Christ will not forgive, there may be consequences you have
to live with but you can believe that God will fully restore your
joy and peace. Just like the woman caught in the very act of
adultery, Jesus has spoken and declared you not guilty, others
can’t condemn you, He won’t condemn you, but don’t do it again.
Praise the Lord, hallelujah. 


We are more than conquerors through him who loves us. No matter
what circumstances, none of our sufferings can separate us from
the love of God. Paul lets us know that it is impossible to be
separated from God’s love. Jesus is our super-conqueror, and His
love will protect us from all evil.
