THE HOLY SPIRIT!


2 Corinthians 3:17- 


17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the
Lord is, there is freedom.


1 Corinthians 6:19-20-


19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the
Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You
are not your own; 


20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with
your bodies.


The Holy Spirit is called the Paraclete in the original Greek,
which literally means “one called alongside to help.” He is here
for us, and He wants to do amazing work in our lives (John
14:16–18). He wants to seal, guide, empower, and fill
us.  He is our company keeper, cloud covering, and our
consuming fire. He is our counselor and truth
bearer.  

Old Testament testifies of the Holy Spirit


Genesis 1 -Spirit of God first mentioned. The Holy Spirit
was present at the creation of the world, and he’s the power
that’s working in every born-again believer right now!!! 


Genesis 2- God breathed His Spirit into us and it gave us life/a
living soul. God loves you that He is willing to put Himself on
the inside of you. That's some powerful shouting and running for
Jesus kind of stuff.


David wanted to build the Temple but because his hands were
unclean, God allowed his son Solomon to build it and it was built
with the best of the best of everything because it was God’s home
on earth.

When you invite someone over to the house, you do some extra
cleaning because you want that person to feel welcomed, relaxed,
and at home. Well, I’m afraid that’s how we treat the Spirit of
God, we only worry about our living holy and talking holy when
certain people are around and when we need God, but God desires
our lives and heart to be pure and clean because He dwells there
all the time. He will never leave us but when we are not walking
in the Spirit of God, we grieve Him and our lives are not as
effective as they can be. 


God’s Holy Spirit is in you and His Standard of Living is
HOLINESS!


Y'all, Jesus shed blood is too priceless and precious and it is
only because of His sacrifice that the Holy Spirit is able to
dwell in us. This is serious stuff and I am  so afraid that
we don’t ponder enough on who is on the inside of us and how we
should be living our lives


 Read Chapters of 2 Chronicles 5-7: The Temple Prayer, a
prayer we need should be praying because we are temples of GOD'S
HOLY SPIRIT!


SCRIPTURES TO LIVE BY: 


HEBREWS 2:4- 4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders,
and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed
according to his will.
