INTRODUCTION: SHARING THE GOOD NEWS REQUIRES A MOUTH AND A
HEART!


ROMANS 10:1, 14-15


1 Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for
the Israelites is that they may be saved.


14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?


 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring
good news!"

Paul said in Ch. 9:3 for I could wish that I myself were cursed
and cut off from Christ for the sake of my people, those of my
own race. We should be sorrowful, we should feel an enormous pain
deep within our soul, and we should never be free of it because
we know people whom we believe not to be saved. In other words,
Paul is saying, if I could be cursed by Jesus so my people would
be saved, I would do it without a doubt. Paul said I would lose
my life if it means that my people would recognize Christ as the
messiah.


There should be someone in our hearts that we have a burdened
heart because we want to see them saved. Guess what, it’s our
responsibility to pray to God on behalf of these people. 


Mat. Ch. 9 Jesus is speaking to his disciples about the fields
are white but the labors are few. He said to ask the Lord of the
harvest to send laborers, workers, and people who will
work. 
We got to start moving our conversations with people to a
spiritual place. Never think that people don’t want to hear that
stuff, that’s the lie Satan, wants us to believe. Most people
have a yearning for God but don’t know how to get there, that’s
where we come in at. We have to engage people. We have to build a
spiritual relationship with people. They’re our friends but want
to see to it that they know Jesus as their Lord and savior. Who
needs a friend who could care less about their soul?
Amen!!! 


People need to be enticed by Christ. We have to stir people up to
want what we have in Christ Jesus. We want them to be jealous of
what we have in Christ. Our life should lead people to
Christ. 


We are the salt of the earth right? We are valuable, do yall know
that Roman soldiers got paid salt for their salary. Amen!!! But
if you have lost your saltiness, then you’re good for nothing.
I’m mighty afraid that there are a lot of Christians who have
been diluted. You’ve heard the phrase, you can lead a horse to
water but you can’t make him drink. I tell you what put a block
of salt in his feeding troth, you want to have a problem with him
going to drink. We are the salt of the earth; our lifestyle for
Christ should make people thirsty for Christ. But once they drink
His water they will never thirst again. Ain't that what Jesus
told the woman at the well?
