SEASON 6: EPISODE: 1: THE PRINCE OF PEACE-HIS PEACE, OUR PEACE

THE PRINCE OF PEACE: ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS JESUS LEFT
US WAS HIS PEACE. PEACE IS SOMETHING EVERYONE WANTS BUT SO MANY
RARELY FIND IT. IT CAN BE YOURS ALL YOU HAVE TO ALLOW JESUS TO
COME INTO YOUR LIFE AND SAVE YOU. PEACE CAN’T BE BOUGHT OR
BORROWED, IT HAS TO BE ACCEPTED. JESUS IS OUR PEACE!


INTRODUCTION: THIS MONTH WE WILL START SEASON SIX. THE
PRINCE OF OUR PEACE- HIS PEACE, OUR PEACE! 


ISAIAH 53:5 –But He was pierced for our transgressions, He
was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us
PEACE was on Him and by His wounds, we are healed.


Before I get started with the message on want you to meditate and
think about this scripture:


Luke 2:14- “Glory to God in highest heaven, and PEACE on
earth to those with whom God is pleased.” 


 John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and
heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So
don’t be troubled or afraid (NLT) or in the NIV version (Peace I
leave with you. My peace I give to you. I do not give peace to
you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or
afraid.”) One of the greatest gift Jesus gave us when He was
saved, was the gift of peace. 


Isaiah, it says that this PEACE came through His crucifixion. I
want you to sit and let that saturate your minds and heart. It
says that it was the piercing in His side, His humiliation, the
lies, the betrayal, the denial, the rejection, the thrones on His
head, the flogging on His body, the mocking, the nails in His
hands and feet, His body buried in a buried tomb, and the hardest
part of this was the separation from His Father for three long
days. He took the PUNISHMENT for our transgressions, for our
iniquities so we could have PEACE and be HEALED. 


Psalm 34:14 tells us what to do, it says “Depart from evil, and
do good; seek peace, and pursue it”. This peace is not the
absence of any kind of conflict, trials, and tribulations, it is
the fact that no matter what storm is going on in your life.
Y’all don’t you know that if we don’t have peace with God and
with ourselves, we can have peace with others?


This peace this so powerful that it affects and overrules all our
circumstances. We don’t have the power to create PEACE, you have
to get it from JESUS. 


TRUE PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF PAIN OR SORROW, IT’S THE
PRESENCE OF GOD!


Philippians 4:6-7-6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in
every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving,
present your requests to God. 7 And the PEACE of God,
which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus.

C-COMFORTING


E-EMPOWERMENT


2 Peter 1:2-4 (NEW LIFE VERSION) NLV says - 2 May you have
more and more of His loving-favor and peace as you come to know
God and our Lord Jesus Christ better.3 He gives us
everything we need for life and for holy living. He gives it
through His great power. As we come to  know Him better, we
learn that He called us to share His own shining-greatness and
perfect life. 4 Through His shining-greatness and perfect
life, He has given us promises. These promises are of great worth
and no amount of money can buy them. Through these promises you
can have God’s own life in you now that you have gotten away from
the sinful things of the world which came from wrong desires of
the flesh.
