US WAS HIS PEACE. PEACE IS SOMETHING VERYONE WANTS BUT SO MANY
RARELY FIND IT. IT CAN BE YOURS ALL YOU HAVE TO ALLOW JESUS TO
COME INTO YOUR LIFE AND SAVE YOU. PEACE CAN’T BE BOUGHT OR
BORROWED, IT HAS TO BE ACCEPTED. JESUS IS OUR PEACE!


RECAP: LAST MONTH I TALKED ABOUT EXPERIENCING GOD’S PEACE
THROUGH THANKFULNESS! SOMETIMES WE GET SO FOCUSED ON THE THINGS
THAT ARE GOING THROUGH OR THE THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING TO US
THAT WE ALLOW THEM TO ROB OF US OUR PEACE BUT WE MUST MEMBER THAT
IT IS THROUGH BE THANKFUL IN SPITE OF US SUSTAINS US IN THE PEACE
OF GOD!


INTRODUCTION: WALKING AND LIVING IN PEACE!


Ephesians 6:14-15- 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of
truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of
righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with
the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 
                 
           


Romans 8:6- 6 For to be [a]carnally minded is death, but
to be spiritually minded is life and peace.


Numbers 6:24-26- 24 “May the Lord bring good to you and
keep you. 25 May the Lord make His face shine upon you,
and be kind to you. 26 May the Lord show favor toward you,
and give you peace.”’


I read a post the other day that a client said to his therapist “
he said he let some things slide that bother him to “keep the
peace” and therapist response to him was “that sounds nice, but
you’re only keeping the peace around you but what about the peace
in you!” I said to say, walking in peace is will not always look
good! 


We must realize that God has peace for us and what God has
ordained cannot be denied, He has commanded His blessing of peace
over our lives, mind, and heart! We have to walking in this peace
so that when the disruptions come in our lives, we it want cause
us to fall because we are rooted and grounded  


The word that is used to used to describe God is Shalom which
means to be whole, save, sound, secure, complete, finished, and
to prosper.  It other words when you are walking and living
in the peace of God, nothing is missing, and nothing is broken,


This kind of peace can only happen when we are in a right
relationship with God. Jesus desire for us was to live a life
filled with peace, we are called peacemakers. It through faith
that we have this peace, it does not come from any other
source.
