Pursuing the King: Simeon & Anna

Modern Christians often lack patience with regard to the promises
of God. When we see delay in the greater thigns of God coming to
fruition in our lives, often we compromise and seek out
counterfeits that are more easily accessible to us in the now.
Faith in God requires a real, perseverning patience -- and this
patience does not disappoint because God is faithful. Two prime
exampels of this are Simeon and Anna. They both waited faithfully
and patiently for the salvation of Israel and the world, and when
God's plan unfolded, they were ovewhelmed with joy as their eyes
saw what their faith had been waiting and longing for. Faith (and
waiting) in the God of Jesus Christ does not disappoint.
