Many people, of past and present, consider the Christian story and
message as sheer foolishness. To believe and depend on a god who
accepts suffering and dies on a cross seems irrational and
ridiculous. However, as Jesus faces suffering and death, He reminds
us that we are to be fools for Christ - that if our identity is
found in God, our foolishness for Christ is actually wisdom. Sermon
is based on 1 Corinthians 1:18-31.
