A Power For All

The Pentecost is a cosmic watershed event in salvation history that
ranks up there with creation and the resurrection. God, on that
day, did something new: he started the building of his new kingdom
by pouring out the Holy Spirit (the very same Spirit that empowered
Jesus) onto all believers. As Christians, we have access to the
Spirit, and this Spirit is what enables us to do the works of God,
from the mundane but foundational to the extraordinary. Sermon is
