Guidance & the Logic of God

In chapter 16, we see God guiding Paul and his companions through a
number of different ways and in a number of different scenarios.
Sometimes God's will seems in line with human and cultural
intution; however, we see in many instances what God wills runs
counter to the will of human beings. But in the final analysis,
when we view God's often perplexing lead and counter-cultural will
in light of the gospel and the character of God, we see that he
operates according to a very consistent divine logic. We would do
well to trust his lead even when it doesn't always seem to make
sense to us according to our assessment. We must learn to have
faith in and to see the logic of God in all our circumstances
especially with regard to the decisions we make.
