COMMUNITY MONTH : At Full Stretch

The New Testament writers teach repeatedly that the community of
God is a community of love. As sweet as that sounds, the reality is
that in a sinful world, sinners in any community are terribly
difficult to love. The only way love can exist in the church is
through intentional, painstaking perseverance by hearts constantly
reminding themselves of the grace shown to them and a community
that collectively is powered through the Holy Spirit and prayer.
And, as many a church has learned the hard way, the only way a
church can exist is if that intentional, painstaking love is
cultivated and maintained. | 1 Peter 4:7-11
