Dr. Albert Garcia-Romeu obtained his Ph.D. in Psychology from the
Institute of Transpersonal Psychology in 2012 for his research on
self-transcendence and meditation. He completed his post-doc in
Behavioral Pharmacology. He currently is an Assistant Professor
of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins University
School of Medicine and is a guest researcher at the National
Institute for Drug Abuse Intramural Neuroimaging Research Branch.
