Mark 6:1-29

The Gospel of Mark is about a King and his Kingdom. As we start
chapter 6 today, we see that even King Jesus faced rejection.
Today we see him send his disciples and we are given a glimpse of
the fate of John the Baptist. A contrast of two Kings and two
kingdoms are presented in our passage as well.
