127: MOONSHINE overview

Grab some illegal moonshine liquor and then take over the Joseon
gangster underworld, all while falling in love with the man hunting
you, because this week Evie is chatting about the absolute joy of a
historical Kdrama rom-com MOONSHINE, also known as When Flowers
Bloom, I think of the Moon. This 2022 fun and fizzy adventure
sageuk stars Hyeri as the coolest criminal around and Yoo Seung-ho
as the police investigator trying to arrest her (obviously he falls
in love with her instead! Brilliant!). This Korean drama also has
excellent appearances from second leads Byeon Woo-seok (charming
Joseon prince) and Kang Mi-na (another cool sort of criminal! What
a girl!). If you hadn't already guessed, Evie loved this one!
