The Church and Social Activism

The increase in crime, evil and vices in our world has birthed
the rise of several movements and drives against these various
forms of social ills and moral decadence. Almost everyone is a
proponent or advocate of one social ideology or the other these
days, but the question remains "What is the role of the church in
all this?". There have been various contrasting views as to what
the church's posture towards social issues should be. In this
