In this very special guest episode, I speak with Clément Quineau
who is the Technical Affairs Manager at Union des Industriels et
Constructeurs Bois (UICB). The UICB promotes wood material and
other bio-based materials. The UICB contributes to the
development of markets for wood construction, the training of
employees and the attractiveness of trades in the sector. It
provides technical, legal, economic and social support to its
members, by monitoring regulations and standards. It represents
the common interests of the profession. We talk about the
significant role that Clément and UICB played in shaping the
French timber first movement driving construction in a
sustainable way.
