announced the completion of its acquisition of BSW Timber Ltd. A
partnership between Aspect Structural Engineers, Design Build
Services (DBS) and Structurlam Mass Timber is celebrating the
completion of the new Terminus at District 56 commercial building
in Langford, B.C. The five-storey mass-timber post-and-beam
structure contains the first buckling-restrained braces (BRBs)
housed within a timber frame. Brooklyn studio CO Adaptive
Architecture has renovated an industrial building in the New York
borough's Gowanus neighbourhood to create bright and spacious
theatre rehearsal spaces.
