Don't Look Back

In times like these, we all find ourselves longing for the way
things once were. We wish we could do what we once did and go
where we once went. We keep looking back, wishing for the way
things used to be. But the truth is when things like this happen,
we’re not meant to look back – much less “go back” – to the way
things used to be. In fact, the more we find ourselves looking
back to the life we once had, the more likely we are to miss the
life we *could* have. We’re meant to look forward and to forge
ahead, as difficult as it might be. We can grieve what we’ve left
behind, but we mustn’t go back to it!
