TWS Episode 97 - ”The Philadelphia Experiment”

The Philadelphia Experiment was a military conspiracy code named
“Project Rainbow” by the US Navy at the Philadelphia Navel Yard
on October 28, 1943.  The experiment involved the Destroyer
Escort Ship SS Eldridge in an attempt to turn the ship
“Invisible” to both the naked eyed and enemy radar. Through out
the course of the experiments several things go wrong involving
strange side effects to the crew and allegedly causing the ship
to teleport across the country!


Listen as our hosts break down the story of the The Philadelphia
Experiment and point out strange aspects of the story others over
look. They argue over whether the experiment was involving
mundane technology or advanced alien technology. Vic discusses
how the technology of the time could explain more of the story
than you think and Marcus critiques the distance the ship had to
travel.
