people have flocked to for various reasons. Everything from
faith, security, and friendship has driven people to do some
extreme things in the same of their cults. Nuclear energy and the
fear of nuclear Armageddon only added fuel to this fire. Nuclear
energy saw the ranks of some cults swells and even caused the
creation of more.

Aum Shinrikyo was a cult formed in Japan in 1987 by Shoko
Asahara. Responsible for two major sarin gas attack in the early
90s the cult was fearing nuclear Armageddon in 1997. Listen as

topic.
