Episode 33: Tackling the Big 3: Bleach (Season 1)

We've reached a milestone of 1000 listens and just in time to
celebrate one of the most influential shounen anime about cutting
dead people Bleach. The guys along with fellow weeb wannabe
Travis tackle the early stage of this amazing story to find out
why we loved it so much in college. Long before Bankai, Bounts
and Espada, we had a tale of school age friends who just happen
to see ghosts, oh and the masked monsters that want to eat them.
The question remains, does this story even matter knowing where
the show is going, or is it worth it to watch Ichigo swing his
buster sword aimlessly with a fairly useless Rukia. Find out this
