Episode 96: Elfen Lied

Can violence be art? What makes a monster nature of nuture? These
are the types of high brow questions buried in violence and
nudity by the show covered this week, the thriller drama known as
Elfen Lied. This is a show that takes a little bit to kick in,
but once you get the over arching themes makes for a good
watch...if you can completely avoid caring about the characters.
Is it an elf if it has horns? Why are such bad ass powers look
like paper mache? Is it possible to be both dangerous and do baby
talk? We try to find out all this and more as we cover our male
parts so we don't make diclonus babies.
