The Saturday Anime series is back! These are episodes where we
talk about anime that aired on the Saturday Anime block of Sci-Fi
Channel back in the 90s on US Cable TV. This month just happens
to be the 30th anniversary of Katsuhiro Otomo's Roujin
Z, so what better time to revisit it? And joining me is
new guest to the show, from The Greatest Movie Ever Podcast, it's
Paul Chapman! Listen as we discuss how well the movie's social
commentary has aged, why it's ok that it wasn't the "next
Akira", and lamenting the fact that we're
definitely getting older. Mild spoilers for the basic plot
throughout, with spoilers for the ending starting around the
55:01 mark.
