8. - Don't Ever Rely 100% on What THEY Say...

In this episode, I talk about letting your child write their own
story instead of you believing yours.  Getting an Autism
diagnosis does not change who your child is.  They are not
all of a sudden a different child but sometimes, we get so caught
up in the diagnosis that we forget that.  We oftentimes
spend WAY too much time reflecting back to life before the
diagnosis and what might have been.  Instead of focusing on
what you think you might have lost, how about getting more
determined than ever and learning all that you can to make their
life the absolute best it can be.  That is what I encourage
you to do.
