The Diabaddie Herself, Antoinette Watkins

Antoinette Watkins is the founder of The Diabaddie
Organization, Inc. and was diagnosed with Type 1
Diabetes (T1D) in 2006.  In this episode, we cover
everything from keeping a community over competition mindset,
staying organized, to finding the time to start (SPOILER ALERT-
IT'S NOW).


Diabaddie's mission is to educate, expand the representation of
individuals living with diabetes, promote health, connect with
others, and inspire beauty through diversity. Additionally, they
are committed to providing scholarships for children with
T1D  to attend Diabetes Camps, so that the campers acquire
the knowledge and resources necessary to self-manage their
disease.
