The Duratus Mind - Helen Barnett former Police ARV Officer.

Helen is a lady who knows a thing or two....or three about
dealing with and overcoming life threatening adversities. 
Having been the first 'mum' to serve in the Met police's armed
response teams, three historic career events would challenge her
way beyond what she could have expected when joining the force at
Hendon.  

Having been stabbed, blown up by the IRA and shot, all on three
different occasions in the line of duty, Helen has a fascinating
story to tell!  It's no wonder that on leaving the force in
the late 90's that she had some even bigger struggles to face.
 

Helen has more recently been part of a team who has broken a
number of deadlift world records in aid of raising awareness and
money for a charity.  She is now beginning to understand the
benefits for herself and to others in sharing her life's
lessons.  Take a listen to this!
