Karen Kennard first witnessed the difficulty of students being
able to access information about education bursaries when her son
embarked to University. She subsequently founded The Scholarship
Hub, a social enterprise that offers a centralised database and
support for students to explore funding opportunities for them.
Karen talks to Lisa Jobson about the work of The Scholarship Hub
and how the rise in tuition fees has created inequality from a
socioeconomic perspective amongst students from many backgrounds.
