James (Jim) Tour is a renowned chemist and nanotechnologist and is
the T.T. and W.F. Chao Professor of Chemistry, Comp. Sci.,
Materials Science & NanoEngineering, at Rice University in
Houston, Texas. He conducts research at the Smalley-Curl Institute
& NanoCarbon Center. Dr. Tour has been the source of many
well-publicized debates on and offline, including with Prof. Lee
