all about this inspiring leader. Lauren Kelly is Chief Marketing
Officer at ThoughtExchange. Prior to her current role, she held
senior executive positions at PepsiCo, Dell, and Irvine Company.
She's been recognized as a rising leader by numerous
organizations including: the California Diversity Council,
Internet Marketing Association - and that's just some of her
accolades.


She has a passion for disruptive tech, global branding and
go-to-market innovation. And, Lauren's attended the prestigious
Harvard University - where I was on the Women’s Leadership Board
- Harvard Kennedy School WAPPP . We'll talk about that and so
much more!

"I wish I had known earlier that , there wasn't a single
prescribed career path. I would say, I sent a few years trying to
mold my own career moves and plan around the backgrounds of
others. And that's not a bad approach at the beginning, but it
has it's pitfalls... If you're looking at someone who's already
made it to maybe, a place more senior and more advanced than you,
their information is  ten, to fifteen, to twenty years old -
in terms of how they got there. So, you're modeling yourself
after an older model, and presuming  that what you're
destined to do is entirely similar to what they're destined to
do, and that what the world needs in the future , is what it
needed in the past."
