On April 21, 2020, as the pandemic was just starting to ramp up,
Katie Palmer wanted to go for a walk with her husband. This was her
first time with her husband to go out and enjoy the fresh air and
spend time as a loving couple. She has been described by many as
jovial and had a laugh that was contagious, a beautiful smile that
felt like sunshine and a presence equally as warm and accepting.
But the smile would be forever burned in everyone’s memory as her
life was stolen, from her soulmate and her two children, by a man
who shouldn’t have been driving.
