the TORCH Book at Lunchtime, author Hélène Neveu Kringelbach
discussed her book Dance Circles: Movement, Morality and
Self-fashioning in Urban Senegal with a multi-disciplinary panel of
scholars. The book uses dance as a window onto social change,
looking at how people use their bodies to engage with different
social worlds and negotiate boundaries. We caught up with her after
the discussion.
