Poland Suckered Into Supporting Ukraine War With Mike Krupa

Mike Krupa is a well-known Polish historian, journalist,
and media commentator, and The Two Mikes were fortunate to be able
to speak with him this morning about Ukraine and European affairs
generally.

Mr. Krupa said he fully expected Russia to defeat
Ukraine, and that Putin --when compared to most European and U.S.
leaders-- was really the only adult in the room.
Putin's only real competition for this status came from Victor
Oraban and Alex Lukashenko.

Mr. Krupa noted that most of Europe's leaders have a good
amount of theoretical knowledge, but almost none of them have ever
worked for a living, have no military experience, and have little
connection to, or knowledge of the people they govern.

For Poland, the problem of Ukraine reveals several examples of the
nation's dilemma.

First, Mr. Krupa said, the Polish people, for more than
thirty-years have been (a) taught by their leaders that Russia was
the country's main enemy, and no matter the questionable behavior
or plans of its NATO and EU allies and the United States, Poland
had to stand with them against Russia and (b) the CIA has
contributed a good deal to spreading and strengthening this
attitude in the country's intelligence and defense agencies.

As a result, Poland is knee-deep in the U.S.-NATO-EU Ukraine war
which is not in Poland's interest. Mr. Krupa said that
there is no truth to the West's claim that there are no Nazis
operating in Ukraine.

Indeed, the Nazis' importance to Zelensky, Biden, NATO, the EU, and
the United States is growing as the Russian army continues
hollowing out the regular Ukrainian army.
The Ukrainian Nazis have long been Poland's enemies. They
slaughtered a large number of Poles in the last years of World War
II, and they still make demands for Polish territory.

As a result of it supporting questionable allies in the Ukraine
war, Poland is now supporting the Nazis. We thanked
Mr. Krupa for speaking with us, and for giving ourselves
and our listeners a glimpse of reality in Ukraine, which is
something entirely missing from reporting of the mainstream media
in the U.S. and most of Europe.
