marriage? Jess and her husband, Nick Connolly, pastor of Bright
City Church, sit down and give us a behind-the-scenes look at
different seasons of their marriage and how it affected their
mission along the way.

to different God-given missions? Or what if my spouse doesn’t
agree with or understand what I’m called to? There’s a lot to
unpack in this episode and Jess and Nick use their wisdom and

All in all, Jess and Nick believe being in a mission-minded
marriage makes life better, but often what is better begins as
something difficult and takes pruning. Anytime you’re leaning
into the mission of God, there will be resistance. Marriage is
beautiful. Your God-given mission is beautiful. God didn’t give
you both to be in competition with each other, so may we find our
base in our relationships and build from there together. Amen?
