Often when we're faced with someone in a difficult situation, the
instinct is to take measures to comfort that person by telling
them what (in our opinion) they should be doing to resolve the
problem.  Sometimes this can cause the person we wish to
help to pull back and close down.  Today, well be looking at
how we can guide without advising.  By listening and offering
the opportunity for that person to simply be able to express
themselves, we can often wittness that person finding their own
solution. While the chat room will be open, producer Kyna is off on
