Artificial Intelligence & Earth's Future

Joan Cerio welcomes return guest Susan Larison Danz who shares with
us her knowledge of artificial intelligence. Is a technological
civilization actually "advanced"? What if high technology is no
more than a step in humanity’s progress? All civilizations must
necessarily explore the astounding potentials of higher
consciousness to truly advance. Will AI itself derive this
inescapable conclusion? How can we envision and shift the future of
the planet in a Higher Intelligence way?   Susan Larison
Danz has degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science and has led
multiple software projects and collaborations. She began her career
interning in a Natural Language AI lab in 1985. Her MS thesis work
in the early 1990's at the University of Illinois involved creating
dynamically modifiable code for the Superconducting Supercollider
project.  A lifelong researcher and writer, she has
worked actively in the spiritual and non-profit community for 10+
years and has hosted The Frontier Beyond Fear Blog Talk Radio
