He Walked by Night (1948)

The lads continue their journey through the night - this time by
foot! Hop in a squad car and slide down the storm drain because
we’re talking 1948’s noir procedural He Walked by
Night! Directed by Alfred L. Werker (with contributions
from Anthony Mann) and starring Richard Basehart, Scott Brady,
Roy Roberts, Whit Bissell, James Cardwell and Jack Webb, it’s a
dragnet from the milk route down to the sewers of Hollywood!
